Dave and Jacqueline sit down with BDPA’s Pamela Sexton, the National Vice President and Conference Director.
During the conversation, Pamela goes in to detail about The Chapter of the Year Award and the amount of HARD work that goes into winning this award.
Pamela discloses details on all the exciting activities planned for this year’s attendees. There’s tons of networking events planned during the day and night outside of the amazing workshops being provided. One of the most anticipated events is the Career Fair. Employers are planning to do “On the spot interviews and looking to hire potential candidates”! Another social event planned is attending an Indianapolis Indians baseball game. The Victory field is across from the beautiful JW Marriott Indianapolis Hotel where the conference is being held.
Pamela goes on to discuss the plethora of scholarships being handed out this year. The Oracle Corporation Scholarship, BETF Eli Lilly Scholarship and the Monsanto BDPA Scholarship are just a few of the scholarships students can expect to receive at this year’s conference.
Lastly, Pamela provides a behind the scenes look into the Main event of the conference, The Spectacular Awards Gala. Some of the awards being handed out on Saturday will be The Corporate Champions award, Broadcasting award, Chapter of the Year award, Corporation of the Year award, HSCC award winners, IT Showcase Award winner, and The Lifetime Achievement Recipient award.
